With a camera phone you are stuck with no optical zoom and also with a tiny image sensor.
Even cheap point and shoots like my Canon 590 IS are better. I paid 129 for it, and it shoots pretty good pics.
Also, my camera doesn't ring and screw up good shots.

I go for my wife the Sony-Ericson Satio (12.1 MP) and also a Sony DSLR-A230 Camera (10.1 MP). Both take great pictures, and is amazing how close the quality is in both, so confirming the Article’s points, we can live with the Satio, and without a point and shot camera definitely.
