My old Labtec board and mouse finally bit the dust, after over 4 years of hard usage. I'[d suggest, for the budget-minded the IHome IH-K200MB Multimedia board and IHome Color Tracks Optical mouse , IH-M805OY. Found them both at K-Mart, @ $20 total cost plus change. Not bad. Love the mouse, the board is media-centered, not bad, but keys and layout different from what I AM USED TO. Just my difference. Like the mouse, this sucker rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Board takes tweaking time, and I AM NOT advertising one brand over another, just opinionating on my purchase, I'm very pleased.

Hey Knife blade !!

I would've liked a link to those items since I am not familiar with the name IHome.
Probably because we don't have them in Canada but then again, they might also
be in some of the lesser known electronic stores.

Anyways, for those of us who don't know the name, here are some screen shots
of those items. Nice hardware though.

Knife blade, are the colors right ???

Hey Knifeblade, That looks like some pretty good budget stuff. My wireless mouse is a Budget job ( $19.95 ) but works well and is 5 button. It is a Swiss Army ( yeah, the same folks who bring you the knife with all the gadgets ). I got it for Christmas a few years ago, but had seen it in Walmart while I was in there with my Mother and Sister. I guess my Mother slipped back over there and bought it after I had gone over to the Grocery section. Batteries do tend to die at critical points while gaming though. Posted Image

Yeah, wireless DOES have some advantages, but the battery issue can be a pain at times, along with the transmission range. I had a friend who went wireless, and for whatever reason she literally blew her system up. I and my pals looked, searched, and did repair, but she was dead in the water, essentially. That's why I stay hardwired.

Pretty good deal, but this mouse costs me enough in batteries by itself. Posted Image

Yep. I have some wired ones laying around. I do use one when I have my eMachines up as I don't feel like switching the wireless one back and forth. Speaking of switching, now I am switching Hdds. I have Vista Home Premium on my default Hdd and Win7 Home Premium on the other one, which I am currently on. Got a bit flustered with the forums hiccups and and bailed about 10 this morning and decided to install it. As usual it was the MSN Internet stuff from Verizon that gave me all the grief. I checked back in after I got done about 1:30 and the forums were and are still a mess.

Well, my friend, at least U helped me figure out how to edit my posts, your tip worked, so hang in there, we need U as a resource for the "forum hiccups", per se. Except, once I turned the emotes off, I can't turn them back on, sheesh, LOL.

Those things don't work, You can't get into the Profile pages ( Need that to clean spam ) and haven't been able to access the messages for quite some time, except out of your mailbox on notification. It was supposed to be a Forum Software upgrade, but I guess like some upgades, it hasn't gone so hot.
