Any chance we can get you to enable Fast Reply for posts? It would probably help newbies who click the Reply button on a post and get confused with all the BBCode.
Yeah, there are still a few minor issues to work on.
I've enabled Fast Reply now for Answer Line, OS's and Hardware Help forums. We'll see how everyone likes it and enable it on the rest if you all want it.
Thanks,
Bill

Thanks for your fast reply. But, there's no rush I guess. I was just posting because you asked us to tell you what was still missing.
After all, it's the Week-End and you had a pretty hectic week.
I like the addition of the Fast Reply. I just used it and it works great. Will be using it where I can.
Thanks to AgentF for suggesting it.

You should be seeing the notifications windows back now. I think the only problems left now are the css issues with your profile area and the search box.
Thanks again,

I don't see how the difference in operating system would affect how a web browser renders a web page. To further test your theory, I just opened the PCworld forums page on a Windows 7 Premium 64-bit machine and got the same result as I did on my Windows XP 32-bit machine when trying Firefox, and both 32-bit/64-bit Internet Explorer. You didn't mention whether you tried other browsers, Rommel. Could you provide a screenshot for all of us to base our responses on?
Hi AgentF,
I am not sure what is missing in the picture Flashorn provided.
Though it may not matter I'll say it anyway, the two screenshots are the same for W7 premium 64 BIT IE8
XP home 32 bit IE8'
W7 premium, 32 bit, IE8.
No other setup or browser was tried.
I do have firefox only in w7 64 bit setup. I will try it and will edit in the results.

Every link visible is working fine. Not just the profile stuff but the links below and to the left.
Is there something I am missing?
Rommel
EDIT: firefox is fine. Unsure of the version but it was downloaded this week.
EDIT2: I now see recent topics added. Forgot about that.

They changed the way it works in this version so it's more difficult for me to customize it now. The PCWorld bot posts used to not show up there, I need to find a way to make that happen again, then you'll probably find that 5 are enough.

.bbc_member, .bbc_url {color:inherit;}This makes unvisited URLs within a post have the same text color as the regular post text. Omitting that line will give unvisited URLs within posts the old blue color and help URLs to be more noticeable.
Edit: It seems the visited URLs would have the same display had it not been for line 14 of pcwskin.css which overrides ipb_common.css' settings for that element.

I just noticed that when I post a URL from YouTube, the Video embeds directly in the post
without any other formatting. That's just Great. I never had the time to learn how to do it
and now, I Don't (although, I should).
Thanks for this upgrade.
