Newegg is becoming an all around store like Amazon. They've had various non-tech equipment for a while, like cooking supplies, but now I see they're involved in used books too, not all of which are techy. I wish they'd stick with electronics, particular computer and entertainment.

I don't know who actually buys that stuff from them. But then again, since I've been boycotting amazon ever since they started going against that CA law online sales tax, it wouldn't be a bad idea to check newegg.

I have found that B & H Photo offers better pricing in many cases and also offers free shipping on most items (I also don't have to pay state sales tax on B&H). I use either B & H, Newegg or Tiger Direct for most of my purchases.

I bought a terabyte Iomega external HD back when terabytes still sounded scary. It was so easy. I love NewEgg.
