The question is what, if any, program you would use for that purpose, IMO. For example, if you play music on your computer, which program do you use: Real Player, Windows Media Player, WinAmp, or something else? Same question for things like Word Processor, Browser, etc. Some of these you can just remove using the "Add/Remove Programs" from the Control Panel but do make sure you aren't going to use that program before removing it as it may be that you like to listen to say LaunchCast from Yahoo! Music which requires Windows Media Player.Regards,JB

Windows Media Player should be something you keep. Different video progams as somone previously mentioned play different formats and you will probably eventually need all or most of them. I don't really care too much for real player, too much "annoyingware" or 'pseudospyware' or whatever you want to call contacting useless crap on the internet and taking up system resources by starting up when your computer does.Anyway, most of the stuff you don't want that looks like crap, if it says "Free Trial" or "30 day" whatever you can probably uninstall it. Wild Tanget was something that annoyed me when my old computer with a system restore to the 'recently purchased bunch of stuff you don't really want or need on your computer' state. Of course keep the essentials, your browser, and basically probably anything that says microsoft or windows besides MSN (not messenger)If you have a question about a program don't hesitate to ask. If you don't uninstall anything too important you can probably just redownload/reinstall it
