Video software for Camcorder

I have a Canon elura 100. what Video Software is out there both for transfer from Camcorder and editing?. Are there any good Free ones?:lol:Operating system in Windows 2000 pro. Windows Movie Maker need Win XP Just my luck.:(

actually the software comes with the camera.....

Actually it should come with the camera...I found this software Ulead Videostudio 10 It can transfer Video+Audio to your comp..from ur camcorderIt can also edit videos..(MPEG-4)
