Security Updates Failures For 2007 Ms Office Suite All Ms 2007 fails to install on my computer.

I hope this is the proper forum for discussions of this problem, I must certainly will appreciate any help I can get to resolve this issue.

I have a vista OS (32-bit) and I have my computer set to automatically accept updates from MS. When I checked to view updates history, I found that months ago my updates for ms office 2007 all failed to install. However, Windows Defender and a few other items installed successfully. I've tried to install the failed items directly from MS download site and it says they were installed, but when I checked the update history again, they were listed as "failed". Then I went to IE then to "TOOLS" > Internet Options > Trusted Sites and entered MS Update address as an accepted site, still nothing I've tried so far has worked. If there is anyone who's had this problem or have a remedy to resolve mine. Please help! I will be so grateful.

What were the exact updates that failed to install?
