I've been very resistant to Android for Google/privacy reasons, but with my Storm2 no longer doing what I want it to (VERY slow browser) and a complete lack of non-Android alternatives on Verizon with VPN and Exchange support, this appears my best option.
So, I ordered a Droid Pro this morning, and we shall see. Unlike many of the Android and Google fans on PCWorld, I am approaching this as a lesser of all evils solution, and hopefully Android 2.2 and the promised enhanced security of this corporate model will be enough to overcome my admitted anti-Android bias.
At least it has a physical keyboard, something I regretted giving up when I moved from the BlackBerry 8830 to the Storm2.

"An atheist is just somebody who feels about Yahweh the way any decent Christian feels about Thor or Baal or the golden calf. As has been said before, we are all atheists about most of the gods that humanity has ever believed in. Some of us just go one god further."
Dr. Richard Dawkins from An Atheists Call to Arms, February 2002

Lousy call quality and dismal battery life mean this one goes back to Verizon.
