I used a program to clone the Windows XP installation on my C: hard drive to my D: hard drive. C: is 40GB and D: is 300GB. The clone worked, and I was able to boot to Windows from D: (as master) now.BUUUUTTTTT I chose the wrong option to have C: copy "As Is" over to D:, meaning that it now made D: only 40GB, leaving 260GB as "unallocated space." So I set my original hard drive as master and booted Windows from my original C: drive, and hooked up the D: drive as a slave again, so I could wipe it and do the clone again. I used the XP disc to try to reformat the entire D: back to 300GB. * I used my Seagate disc to COMPLETELY write zeros on the whole thing.ANDNOTHING is making my motherboard see this D: drive as 300GB, is there ANY way I can get all my space back? :(
