What about :Netscape Browser 8.1.2. You get the best of everything. It is loaded with safety features and the great part is that if a web page needs IE or Firefox, you can chose because they are cross referenced. I have it on my Laptop and for now my main PC is running Version 7.1. I use Norton Internet Security and never have any problems. Give it a try, you might like it lol.P.S. IE is a no go for my use.

I was a Netscape user back with version 2 . . . then an IE user starting with IE 4 - don't like IE 6, can't use IE 7 on Win2K . . . so looked at FireFox 1.5 and decided Netscape 8.1.2 was better . . . but it kept locking so . . . I'm now an Opera 9 user and loving it . . .People overlook Opera and focus on IE and FF . . . sometimes NN . . . so, my advice go with Opera - it's fully customizable, has wigets, "Fraud Protection" and some pretty cool browser features not found in the others such as a thumbnail view of the tabs on mouse over. You want a custom browser? You want Opera.

Currently, my add-ons for Firefox include:1-Click-Weather-- its nice to have your instant forecast on your browser status bar.IE Tab- Is great for those sites that still require the sucky Internet ExplorerMcAfee Site Advisor. Image View- allows you to zoom in and out on images on websitesand my roboform toolbar-means that I don't have to remember my passwords, they are all encrypted in a vault with my master passwor.

[quote name='ESPRIMO']Instead of Roboform I would sugesst:> > > > > > KeePass> > http://keepass.sourceforge.net/> > Unique but essential> > KeePass is a program that securely stores and manages the abundance of passwords we all use on a daily basis.> > > > It has great and user friendly interface.> > > > I used Roboform before and my friend told me :> > > > I don't like the way these companies want you to sign up for something and then you will get their product for free. It really opens you up to a lot of SPAM.My only complain with KeePass is you have to continuously open up the program and right click on your login to get into a web page..

I've been using Fasterfox for quite some time and am happy with it. I wonder if Tweak Network (featured in the article) is better than fasterfox?I installed Tweak Network and noticed that the 'Power' setting is similar to 'TurboCharged' setting under the tab 'Connection' for Fasterfox. But, Fasterfox has other stuff too. This has led me to conclude that Tweak Network is a subset of Fasterfox, hence i should continue to use Fasterfox. Or is it advisable for me to use both? Cheers
