Windows XP Restart problem

Each time I restart Windows XP, an unknown program tries to install itself then asks for a CD to complete the installation. The only way to get rid of it is to call the task manager (Ctrl-Alt-Delete) and then to terminate the installation task. The name of the culprit is AiOSoftware. Does anyone know how to get rid of it permanently ?Many thanks in advance.
