Hello,I think my PC is haunted. While going through the normal shut-down steps everything works well until 10 seconds after shutdown when the computer restarts itselfs! This happens 2 times and then on the 3rd try it finally stays off. Please help, suggestions welcomed. Thank you in advance.Boo! Joe[/b]

Sounds power related. Try plugging into another wall or into a surge protector. If it still does it, try swapping out the power supply. Make sure to blow out any dust. Maybe a glob of dust is causing some kind of short. It could also be the case, either the power button being wonky or the wires leading to the motherboard.

Try clearing your CMOS- I've seen this happen before and it's how I solved that problem.
