I often get mails with an image attachment like this one,[img:c5f8181d05]http://img101.images...mail1vu8.th.jpg [img:c5f8181d05]http://img174.images...mail2qm3.th.jpg[img:c5f8181d05]http://img174.images...ail3dh7.th.jpg+In the image i can see that the message is from "China Fruit corporation"What are they, do you get emails like that?*Thats my public mail address." Its completely filled with spam (nearly 50 emails per day ...lol)

That's the new spam. In order to bypass filters, spammers are now using images instead of words. Your filter doesn't know what the image says, and supposedly can't tell that it's spam.

Go to your mail options, click on spam settings, and under block addresses, see if you can add some of those spammers addy's to the list and see if that will solve the problem.

If your email program supports it, I'd recommend blocking all addresses except for those in your contacts list, sending all other email to a "SPAM" folder.Keep it like that for a month or so, checking the SPAM folder regularly for important emails. When you come across a legitimate address, add it to your contacts so it won't be blocked. After you fell like you've added everyone you need (and everything reported as spam really is spam), set the filter to delete all email that doesn't come from people in your contacts.I've had to do this with my work email. This way you only get email from people you know.
