I think you might want to add the fact that VOIP Phone Systems are half the price of wired phones per-month! I now pay $45 a month for wired, plus that doesn't include long distance and $53 for the year with Skype which includes long distance to USA and Canada and voice mail! I am looking at Packet-8 and may cut my wired system and use that for it's under $19 a month ( when you pay for the year) and includes: caller ID, Call Waiting ID, Voice Mail with Internet Notification, Follow Me Calling to 5 other phones, Call Forwarding, Call Return, Call Blocking, And if the intenet goes down it will transfer your calls to another phone ( like your Cellular) so you won't miss calls and you can transfer your Home number to it! So don't count out VOIP service at the moment!
