After 14 months decided to restore my puter back to original condition using the disc provided by Alienware for Windows Seven. Instead of getting a full destructive restore, It put a copy of the old operating system in a file titled "Old Windows Files". Almost 30 GB's in size, it kinda slows down any scans greatly! Question is this - Can i delete this file without harming my present setup, really hate to do it all over again.
Any input would be greatly welcome!!!

Do you mean a folder called "Windows.old" on the root directory of your HD? Sure, go ahead and delete it. The OS now doesn't depend on it and you can't boot the OS from it anyway. The purpose is to allow you to copy your files back from it if needed.
