My file names will not appear in my "My Music" folder. This does not happen to any other folder on my computer. I've been searching Microsoft.com for a solution, but I can't seem to find anything. This has been a problem for a while now, so I can't remember when it happened or what I may have done to make it happen.

Is it the actual file names themselves or is your music getting stored onto a different folder by default that you don't know about? I've never seen anything where the filenames don't appear, but you might try and save your stuff to a different folder and see if it fixes the problem. Another possibility is that whatever you are trying to open, windows doesn't know how to open the file, so the icon is going to appear when you double click on it saying "Please pick a program to run this file."Am I going in the right direction here?

I can see the icons for the files, and each file and/or folder opens up perfectly fine. I also found that the problem only occurs if I am in the thumbnail view.It just gets confusing when I have icons, but no file names...
