How is this any different than the already amazing Picsel Browser that was included with Windows Mobile 5.0 on my Verizon PPC? I'm not taking anything away from this "Deepfish" program, but it just irks me when companies present a concept or product as though it's new and revolutionary, and then attempt to take credit for being the first to conceive of it. Take the iPhone for example. It's by all accounts a great device that combines already-existing hardware and software (with very few truly novel creations) and tries to create a better user interface and experience. Sounds great, right? The only thing I take issue with is when it's marketed and presented as though this device, as well as the concepts it incorporates, is without precedent, completely ignoring the other devices that came before it and paved the way. So now every PDA phone and PPC, even those whose development pre-date the iPhone's, are judged imitators. My point? really I hope Deepfish doesn't fall into this category.
