Great list of 50 products. Really brings back a lot of memories. But there are a few other rather important products, some already mentioned by other commentors:Novell NetWarePKZipWordStar (though you got Word Perfect 5.1 right)GoogleAnd I would add:dBase IIOsborne Computer (yes, outdone by Compaq, but that CP/M computer changed my life!)- - Jerry

These lists are SO inconsistent! You list the ZIP drive as the #23 BEST tech product of ALL-TIME, and not ONE YEAR AGO you listed the ZIP drive as the #15 WORST tech product of ALL-TIME! Journalism at its worst.

What about the DEC VT100? What about Kermit? These are landmark products that still affect our computer use today.

Yes Visicalc opened up the entire PC business world by providing a reason NOT to use mainframe computers....but in my humble opinion, Appleworks opened up the real utility of PCs by providing an integrated suite of products, word processing, spreadsheet, and database. It made by Apple IIC a real productive tool and immediately obsoleted the typewriter. If only we didn't have to pay $499 for an Apple Imagewriter printer !

This has got to be the leaks list of tech products I have every seen what about:Radio AM and FM, Radar, Video Tape recording, Video editing software, lasers, TTL Logic, Z80s, LCDs, CD and DVDI could go on and on. Tech products didn't start with Computers and to have gaming software a head of any of these products is just sad..JFB

Wow! Brings back memories! I have to say...I can't believe AOL is not listed here (though I never liked it)! After all, in the beginning it was the only reason to be on the internet for a lot of people!
