I think you should go to jail for much longer than the judge indicated. I know it would not teach you anything---you are not that smart. And your mother and her big mouth should do the time with you, side by side. Too bad it is for only 45 days...at least in there you will not be able to kill someone while driving drunk.

I believe you are a classless idiot. You and your family should go to jail for a long time. Them due to their bad parenting, or lack of it. You just because you are a useless peace of crap. You a worse than any poor gheto [person] I have seen. Look in the mirror sometime and see yourself for what you are. I am sure nothing anyone says will ever affect you but what the heck, its a free world and I believe you should hear something. Go to jail do your time and hope you learn something, which I doubt. You need more and I believe you will do more so Maybe...... I personaly hope the loose the key and keep you. You are a classless piece of crap.

Just because you may be cute and have some money, doesn't mean that you can buy your way out of it. Any "normal" person wouldn't be givin the chance. You have the money, why not hire a driver for while you are drinking? A petition?? Are you serious? You do the crime, you do the time!! Right? You need to be taught a lesson. How many times have you been caught drinking? A petition.. huh!!!! Throw that thing away honey... I vote........... Send paris to Jail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She deserves it....

Paris, how about spreading some good will [...]. Do the time and consider some community service. How about 1000 hours serving soup to the homeless.

I guarantee the average age of the people petitioning are 14 year old girls. A rich, snobby and self-rightous class of preppy little [girls] who can't stand to see their idol being held responsible for her actions like any normal human being will revolt via myspace. Good work Paris, you prove that America is far from a Timocracy; your wealth has nothing to your class, ergo, you have none.

I hate to be judgmental, but she's a clueless spoiled brat who defines the concept of "blonde". Her family are typical of the class who feel that, because of their wealth (and consequently, power), they are somehow above the law. She deserves her 45 day stay at the Police Hilton.ENTRY FROM PARIS HILTON'S DIARYDear Diary,Last year I replaced all the windows in my house with those expensive double pane energy-efficient kind. Then, this week I got a call from the contractor who installed them. He was complaining that the work had been completed a whole year ago and I still hadn't paid for them. Now just because I'm Paris Hilton, and I'm blonde doesn't mean that I am automatically stupid. So, I told him just what his fast talking Sales guy had told me last year... Namely, that in ONE YEAR these windows would pay for themselves! Helllooooo? It's been a year! There was only silence at the other end of the line, so I finally Just hung up. He didn't call back. Bet he felt dumb!

The law is too strict. Paris rocks. She isn't a criminal in the slightest and those people that wrote that BS above or below my post would say the same if it was their friend. I dont know her but I find your comments hypocritical. 45 days for driving on a suspended license. Gimme a break. What a waste of taxpayer money. Go put some violent offenders in jail. Justice is better served by using her celeb status to teach kids.

Just because you were born into a privileged lifestyle doesn't give you the right to be a scofflaw. I say add another year to the 45 day sentence and then perhaps you'll realize your good fortune and not be such spoiled elitist brat.

Learn to comprehend what you read. I didn't say that I wasn't being judgmental. I did say that "I hate to be judgmental, but"... There's a difference. Also, if you wish to be taken seriously, check your facts. She isn't being jailed solely for driving without a license, but for ignoring the terms of her probation (more than once), and DUI. See [ HERE for details.[quote:3e2fd9b271]Justice is better served by using her celeb status to teach kids.[/quote:3e2fd9b271]Yeah... there's an idea... duh! I don't think that what she's teaching them is very positive. I know that I wouldn't want my daughter seeing Ms Hilton as a role model.[quote:3e2fd9b271]btw - 36, m, democrat[/quote:3e2fd9b271]1: None of your business; 2: Irrelevant and none of your business; 3: Although it's also none of your business, criticism for Paris Hilton's behavior is more likely to come from a very right wing conservative... Although I doubt that any adult with half a brain would condone her behavior.

I agree with you: 45 days is not right. 45 years would be more appropriate.

She should be treated like everybody else who has broken the law. DUI, driving on a suspended liscense requires jail time and it would for others. She does nothing to brighten my life. Jim Mahan Kansas

Who ever a person might be, he/she must be treated equally by the law! I don't think Governor Schwarzenegger would be even bothered to even glance at a case like this if it was a 'normal' person who committed the crime! So Mr. Governor, I personally think that you should let the law run its own course.
