Hi, Chulbul.
It's best to consider 3D as a feature that's there when you want to watch something that uses 3D, but not something you want to watch all of the time.
There's some 3D content available on cable and satellite, and I'm currently reviewing an LG set that provides 3D streaming Internet content. And of course, a lot of recent blockbusters, and almost all animated movies have been in 3D.
But too much 3D is tiring, anyway.

Every 3D TV I've looked at has this feature. But frankly, I haven't been impressed with it. The result always looks like a 2D image with 3D text to me.
Besides, I want to watch something the way it was meant to be shown.

Almost all the 3D TVs have 3D conversion feature. You can convert any 2D content into 3D and it is not really bad. I don't understand why you are complaining about it. If the content is limited, I wouldn't be considering to get one for myself.

If you like sports, ESPN is trying to make some main events in 3D like tennis matches and the recent X-Games (which can now be viewed in YouTube via Smart TV).
I also read that London Olympics broadcasters will air some sports/games in 3D.
If I were to buy a new TV, smart TV features and interface would be my priority after picture quality then 3D.

I value your opinion very much and whenever I plan on buy something, I look up your reviews. It would be appreciated if you could post the review on the LG TV set soon. I guess it is one of the new models which I'm thinking about buying one if it is a LED 3D TV.
Thank you. I have no say in when a review gets posted. I'm just a freelancer.

I don't know which brand you have experienced for this feature but I did experienced 2d-3d conversion in LG LM6200 last month and I must say the image quality was really nice. In some cases I do agree that image quality may differ depending upon the contents but most of the time, you will get a clear image.

Yea, while nothing will ever be as good as content produced with 3D in mind (as in 3D blurays and such), the 2D to 3D conversion, I think, is a pretty nifty feature. Even if it's not the best, it's good to have when I'm in a 3D-mood while watching random shows on TV.
