HowdyMy motherboard on my old Dell recently went down. I decided to try my hand at building my own however I want to install my old raid (striped) hd and maintain all of the old info on there. I had a Dell 8400 with a 360Gb hdnow I have a Asus P5B-E Plus motherboard, 320 Gb IDE hd on connector 1, 6600 dual core processor, running win xp. I'm fairly certain that the raid was controlled by the mb on my old computer and my new mb is capable of controlling it as well. My reservation is that I hook it up and the new mb sees this as a new drive and wants to set it up for me. If anyone knows of a almost foolproof method of hooking these up or even of an external box I can get, please tell. Thanks all in advance. Rob
