Strange that this Frenchman would wait so long to raise his hackles? No, not really.With the investment Gates & Co. already has committed to the Vista product and promotion, it merely raises the stakes for Monsieur's eventual payoff. Seems well calculated to me!Perhaps Bill will just buy France to save further aggravation.At least the French trademark rules are more sensible than ours, and would forestall such nonsense as MacDonald's suing a little local independent children's clothing store whose owner's born name and store name was MacDonald for trademark infringement, as if anyone would confuse quality children's clothing with greasy fast food! :P
