Hi thuanngm. Okay, you need to provide a lot more information than you have so far. First, can you provide full specifications for you computer including Power Supply rating. You will find a sticker on the Power Supply inside your case. The sticker will say something like, "Peak Power Wattage..."- When you say "shutdown suddenly," exactly how long does the computer stay on from the time you push the power button?- Does it shut down at the exact same point each time you try to restart?- Have you installed any new software or hardware?- Have you done any recent virus scans?

Okay, let me summarize what you stated:- Power Supply is 350- computer restarts at different times- DOS based virus program found and removed virus- Reinstallation of Windows XP did not correct the problemFrom that information, this sounds like an overheating problem. The Power Supply is underpowered. Your problem could be that the Power Supply is failing. Have you tried to switch Power Supplies? Also, have you touched or moved the fan (heatsink) over the processor?

You'll need to flash your bios, especially if this is an HP laptop. In addition, clean your fans housing of any dust and also blow out your heat sink.

Your welcome. :-) I would still consider getting a more powerful Power Supply for the future.
