Well I nice to see improvement indeed from solaris.Is a good, stable and secure system, but it's true that its strong point isn't the easy-to-use part, the improvement they're planing won't hurt anybody I think and let them to expand their market.It will be usefull to see what are the linux things they want to import, but the their goal seems to be very clear in what they want from linux and its facility, if they import the hardware support as well or part of it will be great.
