Librarything.com does the same thing, maybe better. Plus you can get a LIFETIME membership for 25 bucks. It is fun having my books cataloged. I just type in the ISBN and it finds the rest. Plus is shows who else has your books. You can "tag" them too to look for similar books in the library of others. Then you can click to find that book at abe.com or amazon and a couple other places

Thanks for the comment, GypsyJon. I'm fond of LibraryThing, too. There are some definite similarities, such as the ISBN search you mention (although they search different sources--Book Collector has more retailers, LT more libraries). LT's tagging is neat, but so are the neatly defined and very detailed categories of BC. Then there's the question of whether you prefer using a Web service/community or a program that lives on your system.
