Yes, there have been several bugs in Firefox reported lately, but at least Mozilla acknowledges them and tries to release a patched version as soon as possible. Meanwhile, Microsoft waits to release fixes until the second Tuesday of the month, when they release their monthly updates, and they waited five years before they came out with an entirely new version, IE7.

Removed by ModeratorIn no way is this an "embarrassment" to Mozilla. You seem to forget what open source is all about. Open source software is about the community helping to improve the software. That includes finding bugs and vulnerabilities. How is this an embarrassment compared to everything Microsoft has been through with IT'S vulnerabilities? In the future, don't make false statements. When something is an embarrassment, it's called such by the party because they feel "embarrassed." I haven't seen anywhere that Mozilla "feels embarrassed."Edited by MPHEnterprises - No Personal Attacks

I think the embarassment stems from the fact that, "People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones."I like Firefox, but I don't really care for their smug (holier than thou) attitude. They should just fix the bugs and shut up. :x

thats exactly right this is what open source is all about and this actuly proves open source is better than prioritary software because Mozilla didnt wait till the 2nd of the month to update FF unlike M$
