We are grateful for the interest generated by Rodney Gedda's report.The underlying technology has been in use by our development team for two years, where we build enterprise management applications.We designed it to be fast, secure, and easy to use. The people developing applications with it are all professional programmers, so things that weren't top priority have not been completed: most notably, a database editor. We use EMS and PGAdmin, however to make this system accessible to users with no SQL experience, this extra component is needed.But I was overwhelmed at OSCON by the enthusiasm to release once:radix ASAP. So we are working to have the first distro available on SourceForge on August 7th.We hope to attract contributors who will make this a genuinely community-based project. While my development team have achieved significant breakthroughs in RIA development, we believe that sharing the technology with the open source community will lift it to a new level.
