I recently went to Best Buy and bought a new HP. I am NOT happy. It keeps tossing me errors and stops working. Once I reboot it will work fine again for a but only to get the same things again all over after a little time online. I do not do a whole awful lot on line. I have been replacing some files. All legal mind you. So downloading a bit. But other than that just forums and reading that is it.I have had this system 4 days and have never had this many problems in any machine I have owned in the past.I have a couple options1.return to best Buy and get my money back and shop elsewhere Doing that will mean No computer for at least 10 days while they mail me my 615.00. Not a huge issue I have access to another system for a while.2. Return it to best buy in exchange for a Acer they have that I had originally looked at but decided to go with the HP due to the online graphics they offered.Does Acer make good systems?I have read many horror stories from HP users since buying this system (seems you never see them when you are actually researching only after purchasing  ) and fear that if I keep it I will end up one of those horror stories. So what do you all think?I am torn with the Acer or just getting my money and ordering from CyberpowerPC Thanks for any feedback

Hi Sorry about that It is HP pavilion a611On Desktop The messages are not so much errors as it just locks up and will not let anything work. I will try to open a browser window and it will not let me. Sometimes it will just not do it If I use the shortcut on the start menu I get a message that says warning deleting shortcut can something I forget what it said. Mind you I only clicked to OPEN a browser NOT change a shortcut. I right click to save a picture it will not allow it I get a message that sayssystem can not find the file as specified.it acts like it just does not have enough processor or something??Mind you it works ok for the first 2 to 3 hours only after being on line opening and closing windows etc does this happen.I do not do much on it have not had a chance most I have done is visit forums read some articles and download a few Sims 2 files to burn All scanned all safe.Norton is running and has scanned and so far all is well I am cautious as to where I visit I have not added any things except my Sims 2 games.I have not even added Spybot and now fear doing so if I am going to return itAny help is welcome I am just not believing I am having this issue My old AMD 2400 that died did better at this then this one does and it did not have Half the resources.Could this be the issue?By the way I ran a system check and it is saying that system disk is low on space.HP partitioned it to hold the Windows OS but they seem to have not given it enough room??

Well I can tell you I had 2 bad Acers in a row. I forget which model because after a week I was done. I could look it up later. Also it was a laptop, not desktop. Either way, the 1st laptop kept shutting down at random. Me and my old IT admin decided it was the power source. I exchanged it (CompUSA) for another and a day or two later I got the BSoD. I saw that, got pissed and exchanged it for the Compaq Presario m2105u. It's not SUPER intense or hardcore, but it serves it's purpose and is great at multitasking photoshop CS, illustrator CS, firefox and trillian. Oh and movies are good (15" widescreen).I'm getting off topic. Try a different HP. Maybe the one you got was dropped down the stairs or something.
