Just wanted to drop you a line. I know that you are very busy and I am a very devoted customer to PCWorld both papr back and on the computer world.
Just wanted to let you know that after a great deal of headaches with CA Anti-Virus and CA Anti-Spyware, dummy me after reading all the hype of the program and used EZArmor and no flaws. Its sad to say that CA programs dont live up to what I expected. I had to wipe clean of all CA that I bought, and still have issue were virus will not open files the spyware will not connect to the port(and yes I got the user and passwords).
Over all I bought this program to use on three main computers, and decieded to buy five of them to help others protect there computers and such. And I am a computer IT personal so, I know that I done what was needed piror to install.
I got no real help from niether on live support, email, and not spending $20.00 for phone support. ANy ideas can u email me!!!

gmail has this magic box called trash, into which you put the stuff you get that is not wanted nor to be looked at again. this stuff can be deleted completely page by page, thereby freeing up most of your storage space. there is also the neat box called archive mail into which you could put those very important ones you want to keep and to refer to in future. this does away with a good part of your problem. because you do get so much spam it might be wise to just delete the stuff daily with one keystroke.
see it isn't a big problem, you and your lax habits have just made it one.

Trash, yes, and Labels. Create and Apply, and later purging is much simpler.

You can setup a filter that automatically puts the spam into the trash folder by doing the following:
Matches: is:spam
Do this: Skip Inbox, Delete It
When the spam is moved to the trash folder it counts against your Quota though
Now if I could figure out how to automatically empty the trash at a certain interval...
