Would there be any way to have an "open to the public" HP Halo telepresence system, possibly one system in Hollywood, one in New York, where celebrities in one place would talk with celebrities in the other, with a public audience? It could be in a nice restaurant setting, for example, so the celebrities would have a long distance chat over a meal, with celebrity junkies watching the celebrities at their tables where the Halo screens are, and maybe on large format displays as well. Video recordings of the celebrities having their long distance chats could be played on entertainment cable channels to make this produce more revenue.

I'm just trying to think of ways to get more people from all parts of the world hooked together real time, and telepresence systems like the HP Halo seem like one good method - but they need to used in a way that is public and fun and profitable so that their use provides it's own publicity and creates a self-reinforcing increase in demand and use.
