GREED willl only hurt NBC. I have to side with Apple on this one. I think NBC and the like should be thankful for what Apple is able to provide them. Some money is better than none at all. Greed will ultimately kill NBC if they don't wise up. Apple provides a safe and easy mechanism for people to access these videos. If it's not on iTunes, people will find alternative (non-legal) solutions. Alternative solutions usually mean no money for NBC and the like. iTunes is popular and easy to use. Hmm, sounds like what customers want. If NBC thinks they can do a better job, I'd like to see them try. I'll still be using iTunes and possibly some other (free) method to get SNL videos. $4.99 per episode is outrageous when you consider I can pick up a DVD for $12.99 most places. Come on NBC, what are you thinking?

Good for iTunes standing up to corporate greed... I would have bought some of NBC's offerings, but you can be sure I'll avoid them now... unless they return to -iTunes- specifically. $2/hour of TV is almost reasonable, $5/hour is not. Wake up NBC, you're not providing blockbuster movies... you can't equate your TV prices to them.
