The airwaves are OURS, the property of the people! We are properly represented by our government in this matter by the FCC since it's interstate commerce and communication... and it's about time! Finally the FCC does something other than sit on it's hands and watch as Asian and Europen dust clouds (regions that passed us a long time ago on the wireless autobon) fade into the distance ahead of us. And now? Up steps Verizon to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory... well, survival anyway. I wish there were a way to make sure this ugly wart on Verizon's behind get's exposed to consumers like it ought to be, since they're basically showing us what they think of us with their back side anyway. If JD Powers politically avoids this in their surveys, shame on them. They'll be responsible for execs at Verizon getting a bigger bonus for hurting consumers in their quest to worship their own greed if this succeeds. I think I speak for all consumers capable of more than 30 second attention span.
