Why Buy PS3? Sony's Secret

I've been hearing the line " the games are coming soon" since the PS3 came out. I paid full price for the thing and it is basically collecting dust.
My kids play the hell out of the Xbox 360 and love it. I even got a Wii and they play it for maybe a half hour to a hour in a week and it's back to the 360. I'm lucky if the PS3 was played for one hour in the last month.
Sony should of had a boat load of games ready for the initial release date. As of today, how many PS3 games are there, 15 or 20 total, maybe? Sony and it's third party developers used to flood the market with games. I don't know if it's Blueray that's slowing things down but they really need to do something.
