What the hell makes this not a "real" review? I thought it was good enough.

It's not a "real" review because it's only a lousy 5 paragraphs long and doesn't go into any detail what so ever. If you want to read a real, more accurate review of this game, go to one of the actual gaming review web sites like IGN or Gamespot. Besides, 88/100? I'd say that's a little on the biased side. I'm sorry, but a game like Halo 3 is deserving of a better score than that. Stop hating on the hype.

Hey TheCeejus, I don't expect (or really want) to sway you either way, but re: "five paragraphs long," check the link at the bottom of the review to the next page...

Oh come on, the game isn't godly. The multiplayer is going to be oodles of fun, but you can't contend that the ending of Halo 2 was a disappointment. I wouldn't expect the story of this one to be amazing, either. It's gonna be good, but not perfect.

What's wrong with this review? It sounds like the writer spent 30 minutes opening it up just to see what it is and MAYBE touch upon the first level. The writer didn't bother to really 'Finish the Fight'. You can't write a review spending 30 minutes on a game when it's as big as Halo3. I

Great retort to the review Judson! Heck, I might even send it to the editor.

Well Robert, I was not doing any follow the leader. Several times during the campaign the marines say "uh oh, don't think your going to be able to climb up here with that armor, try to find your way around". A neat little tip: just plug your controller into the second slot and you are playing as the arbiter. Also, the faces only move like rubber masks if you do not have an x-box hard drive, or in one of the beginning movies when you roundevous with the captain. The hard drive provides extra processing power, Halo 3 is really intended for hard drive owners. The only disappointment I felt was the beginning movie, but the campaign was quite worth it. You can even play as the arbiter online if you complete all of the accomplishments, as a selectable armor. As for the enemies not knowing your coming; the grunts are too busy running around in circles in fear, the brutes are trying to rip your arms off, the jackals are too busy trying to be a front defense or snipe, and the bugs probably don't have radios. However, in heroic and ultimate, they communicate. You can even hear the grunts screaming to the brutes for reinforcements.. It is the best game and its worth the hype in my opinion.

I agree with this review, Halo 3 is a remade halo with new toys i was axpecting much more... well most people will just say "Its the greatest ever" well the fact is you been brain washed to accept this then givin a game that isnt AMAZING... I still think its a good game but not worth all the hype and the cheezy dressed up Master cheif during the first release.. i kinda feel sorry for the people waiting in line for that long. To go home after and see that after the first time through the game its not that great. And yes online is fun. But it cannot beat computers in online shooters... Im not a computer fanboy either, i just think reading soo many revies of Halo 3 and people saying ITS THE GREATEST EVER.... that someone with a more open opinion about games and game standards should say that its a good game but please stop saying its the greatist thing since sliced bread cus... well its not... and so now i wait for the hate mail...
