I have had the HD experience and the picture is indeed great. However, there is a serious defect with all or most HD digital service and that has to do with audio/video sync. Sometimes the sync is so bad it's like watching a foreign film dub. I googled audio/video sync problems and this is a very serious problem. Why has the industry not corrected this issue or even admitted this problem exists. When I speak to tech support for Express Vu they claim it's an isolated issue. Wrong, digital tv providers are sending us a defective product and until they correct the problem I'm not investing in an AVR with 7 speakers.
