I think anyone that would knowingly give their financial account logins to a third party on the internet is just asking for trouble. Yes, Mint's TOS/EULA state that everything's secure, they won't divulge your info, etc. But it also states that it's subject to change without notice. So what happens when some unscrupulous mega-corp down the line buys them out, and now they have all this information on you? Or what happens if Mint gets hacked? Sure, it says they're "Hacker Safe" and use bank level security, but it's not unheard of for banks' records to get hacked.
As cool and flashy and admittedly useful as this service is, I don't think it's worth the potential risk. And with the frequency and severity of identity theft these days, I'm surprised anyone has signed up for this service. It's just not worth it.

You gotta be kidding!?! Give on on-line site my bank and credit card account access? After numerous warnings about identity theft this just doesn't seem like the PCWorld recommendation I'd expect. Did someone get into the candy early or is this your halloween trick?

Mint.com is Genius! Why go to the trouble of creating an elaborate phishing scam. Put up a site and let people voluntarily send their bank accounts, credit card #'s, userid's and passwords.
