Hi sophlady, I have to agree with your assessment of the situation. You mentioned web polls. Well it doesn't matter whether they are web polls or media polls or whatever polls. Polls, like statistics can be manipulated to support whatever agenda or person is being hyped. That is why I generally don't pay attention to them. Unfortunately, there are too many people who make their decisions by what the polls say instead of hard facts. By extension that is why we have so many idiots in Congress. I have not gotten anything from or about Ron Paul. I do get a small amount of junk mostly from online colleges and such, plus Domino's Pizza and Papa Johns Pizza with their daily specials. In this day and age it only stands to reason that polititians will start exploiting the internet. What with caller ID and the way I have this thing set up, I pretty much keep all that stuff at bay anyway, because being a moderate independent, I don't feel like I have a dog in this fight anyway. coastie65

I've never been spammed by any Ron Paul robot, and I'm a Ron Paul supporter! I feel left out, grumble.
If there is any spam its coming from the Rudy Guliani camp. A female supporter of Guliani used her position in the media to insert fake press releases about Ron Paul spamming and many news portals took the bait and republished them without checking the sources. I guess PC world is one of them?
