Yes, but I already Paid OLPC for one that I've only gotten in a defective form. They seem to be going for well over $300

i'm happy to report -- from my very own xo laptop, in seattle -- that to the contrary, many laptops have arrived and donors like me are happy.
a simple web search shows many photos of xo laptops being used in seattle months ago -- did you bother contacting some happy donors, who did in fact have their xo already? even as you wrote this article, some xo laptops were already in donors' hands.
did you bother contacting happy donors like my wife and i, who understood that charitable shipments should be filled first -- those who had a bit more patience? when you wrote this article, we did not yet have our xo, but we understood olpc's priorities.
order fulfillment was delayed, but in our case communication was clear and frequent. not all olpc recipients were or are irate and the facts are a great success for olpc. it is good news, not bad, that interest was so high. it is as it should be that needy children received laptops first.
-- a happy xo user in seattle
