I understand that you may not have meant it that way; however, the fact is that the statement "...your children..." and "if you are..." are personal attacks regardless of whether or not it was meant in that fashion. That being said, you are correct, I could have changed the verbiage.

I can understand your feelings, as a matter of fact, I share them. Parents should be held responsible for their children's actions and monitor what they do. However, we all do not feel this way.

I pity the parent who thinks Government can properly raise their children
Lets look at the amount of criminals in our Government
I believe in freedom
Banning anything that has to do with freedom of expression whether it be art, music, even stupid video games, because it might offend someone, offends me.
It makes society look stupid, as to say your too dumb to control yourself so we have to do it for you.

I fully agree that parents should be held responsible for the actions of their kids. I also agree that kids need to be watched, etc. My point is that you can't watch "your" kids every second, so it is possible that they will play the game without your knowledge. I know that any child psychologist will tell you that a child's mind will be "damaged" from experiencing such violence.
I also agree that the government should not censor people; however, there are some things that degrade the value of human life and are therefore not acceptable in society. I believe that this game falls under that category.
I agree to disagree with you on this subject. Individuality is part of what makes us human...

I think that is way over board. I have a 2 year old of my own and am the soon to be step father of a 11 and 13 year old. The 13 year old has vice city and gta3 I have no problems there. The 11 year old is not to play any of them type of games, she has her brats and ddr. my little please wii sports when where at my friends house (sge loves the horse racing one) and ddr but thats it. I don't play anything when she is in the room.its parents not the goverment that should be making sure the kids are playing the right games.
