Hey. How about ? Steps to faster Broadband using aircards? I realize that i'm probably in the minority but I use aircard 100% of the time. Any suggestions about tweaks that can be made to increase speed?

My best advice to you is. If you happen to have DSL, throw it out the window.Cable broadand is,so much better than DSL.You do not have to put up with any of this crap. I had DSL thru AT&T it was decent even though I had to reboot the modem a half dozen times a day.Their customer service stunk, and I did not like the fact that they lied to me about how they were going to bill me seperate.AT&T put it on my dad's bill because it was the same address, and we had phone service thru, so they assumed they would put it on that phone number. They sent it that way because me and my dad had the same name.We did not know that they did this because they did not put it on there like an internet charge, when they billed it,they put it on there a different way.As a result, our bill got late charges on it we paid it after they shut off the phones, and told us about it. It was a shady billing process. I did not like Earthlink even after there deal I thought was great. There internet service was horrible. One outage I had with them lasted for three weeks. A short while after that, it went out for another week.even though earthlink did work,it would go out on a frequent basis. They also had stabbed me in the back after they refunded me for two months. They got angry when I cut their service for breach of contract. They turned around and billed me for the early termination free, equipment, and free months they had given me. They also threaten to put it on my credit. The customer service they had was awful too.The people there were from India and hard to understand. The techs, when they came over did not help the situation, I still had problems. I switched to Cox Communications for internet. It was like night and day.The customer service operators were locally employed. The install was free for the internet and phone, and they put the cable line right through the wall. I wish I would have went with them in the first place. The speed is awsome and so is the upload.I never lost connection once with Cox,or had it crash.Go with cable broadband if possible never DSL.My mother has Cable Broadband with Time Warner Cable, and she says its really reliable and fast. The moral of the story is go with Cable broadband because DSL sucks.
