I've got two of these, bought right here in the good 'ol U.S.A. Been using it for months. The HDTV dongle also brings in Analog signals and allows any video device input with RCA jacks.

I purchased the Face Bank for my brother for Christmas in December. It's cool but like the previous commenter I bought it MONTHS ago right here in the good 'ol USA. What's up with the "can't get here"?

YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE THE "NO" BUTTON IMMEDIATELY BELOW THE "NEXT" TAB. BAD DESIGNER! BAD! I accidentally gave this article a "no" and clearly many people have as well by accident.

Don't assume. My "no" was entirely purposeful.

This article is completely inaccurate. You can buy facebanks right here in New York City for 40 dollars. There is a store on 8th street and broadway that sells them. It's called "AC Gears." I seriously suggest to whoever wrote this article to do thorough research before making claims like the title of this article does.

Sincerely,
A facebank lover.

and it was in the new york times. man no research was done. shame on you pc world person.

Hi Bapzzy, How does this dongle work? What HD channels does it receive? Just local terrestrial broadcast channels? If that is the case, how compelling is such a product? I mean, is local TV that interesting to people such that they want to watch it on their PCs? Is there a PVR like client that can be used with it? I ask becasue now that I have a PVR at home, I can barely stand to watch normal TV in a hotel. Thanks for your feedback.

It will take any analog/digital transmission (antenna), analog /digital cable input in full HD or std NTSC and pipes it into your computer where you can watch it/record it and use your own computer as DVR. You must have FAST computer to use the record while watching feature. It also accepts rca typ three plug video/audio l/audio r

This article was a good concept, but bad execution. It is no secret that the US is far behind Europe and Asia when it comes to availability of certain gadgets and especially mobile phones. The reporter shld have done some homework beyond bestbuy though....
