The two most important reasons I use Yahoo, and I'm sure I'm not alone, are for the e-mail and entry-portal news. Little else matters to me in any relevant way. I'm not that interested in 'social networking' with people I've never met, have little in common with and only rarely, if ever, chat. I don't like revealing intimate details of my private life. I don't share that much about myself with others. Why Yahoo thinks just because I use it's e-mail (for which I pay) and entry portal, I'm interested in being socially connected to every other 'yahoo' on the planet is beyond me. I don't need or want all these widgets and gadgets and crap that 'connect' me to things others have deemed important in some vaguely ad-revenue-driven way. I trust Yahoo will enable complete and total privacy for those of us who aren't into the social networking scene to remain blissfully undisturbed. Otherwise, I'll have to go elsewhere for my news and public e-mail.

Way to go yahoo. You're only 4 years behind the competition, as usual.

Yahoo... Please... SAY NO To Microsoft. Yahoo is excellent, but if Microsoft (GOD safes us) buys Yahoo, I will never use it again. And that's wht macroshit wants
