WOW, that Micro Express IFL9025 has AMAZING bang for buck.
2.5 Ghz core 2 duo, 8600 GT, and 4 hour battery life- for $1199.

Darren Gladstone must be a gamer. In his reviews, although well-written, he doesn't included hard drive speed, or what factory warranties are offered at the stated prices (warranty prices and durations could be mentioned "as of this writing"), nor does he mention numbers or types of ports, i.e., FireWire, USB, HDMI, etc. For me, in the world of laptop shopping, the sum of what features/extras are offered is the deciding factor in choosing a brand, not just the processor and/or graphics.

He should have also reviewed others such as the HP dv9700t with the same processor, 2GB memory, the same nvidia 8600M card which on the HP comes with an HDMI port as well as the VGA and S-Video ports, 3 USB and 1 mini-firewire ports, two HD bays with a 250GB drive in one and a remote control for $1,175 (based on selections on the HP website 5/10). I don't have any info on battery life, but my dv9500t will go for 3+ hours. Sometime I may time it.

How can you not mention the Panasonic Toughbook CF-30? I use one continuously in my job with the U.S Government. It is a great machine!

Please....wish you had compared your favorites with a chart. Too much reading and I pass the article by.
