And anything that runs on an Apple has perfect impenetrable security because Steve Jobs said so. Clap your hands if you believe in fairies. Seriously, Microsoft didn't declare anything, independent security analysts did, and they are right. I will continue to not use Safari.

@greenuser01: You're absolutely correct-this is not the first example of Safari falling short in the security department. There are an increasing number of companies criticizing the state of security Safari suffers from- most recently, for example, Paypal.
Their money quote? "Apple, unfortunately, is lagging behind what it needs to do, to protect its customers," Michael Barrett, PayPal's chief information security officer, tells Info World." http://www.pcpro.co.uk/news/172911
Nice try at spinning though ...

best thing about it (more then one heh), muti tab support (firefox sucks and so does IE 7 way of doing it), rembers each tab was open when you close the browser (firefox works only if you make sure you close the last box thats open), any popups end up in an Tab not an new window, each page can have its own settings (popup blocker set to max disable Java and so on), and if you pc crashes or opera crashed you tabs stay there once you start it back up, allso it keeps the Last page saved on the hard disk on each tab so you see what was on the page when you open opera before you refresh the page
only time i use IE7 when it does not work in opera and thats rare nowadays

whitey1600 asks:
What should I do If I have Safari to get rid of the threat?
Internet Explorer automatically runs .exe files on the desktop. In Safari, edit preferences to change where downloaded files are saved. Select anywhere other than 'desktop' for the files. If the files aren't on the desktop, Internet Explorer won't automatically execute them. Microsoft is working to fix I.E.; Apple usually doesn't acknowledge a problem until they have an update available (to not encourage hackers).
