I have used Windows in the past and I have had nothing but problems. I have never owned a Mac, but I have used Mac OS at school up to version 9, but I have never tried Mac OS X. I hate operating systems that try to hide the details from the user because if something goes wrong, it takes hours to fix it. Right now I am using Slamd64 Linux. I have never had a single problem with Slamd64. Not one. It just works perfectly. My mail works perfectly, 32-bit backward compatibility works perfectly, and I don't have any problems at all accessing my computer remotely through SSH, and what Apple calls "spaces", which is a feature that has been part of X11 for years, works perfectly. Apple really needs to see the example that Slamd64 Linux has set. Until they improve their operating system, I would stay away from Mac.
