I hate to say this but...

Switch to Linux! It's free! No worries about the stupid license agreements...

Of course, you could lie to Apple, telling that you're running an OS X Server guest operating system -- even if you've virtualized the client version of OS X 10.5!

Maybe there's a way to hack the virtualization software to run OS X...? Note that I'm not promoting warez but all those licenses and activations can cause big problems for consumers... Serious offense about lieing to companies, I know... :(

Sun's Virtual Box product is for desktop PC's and Mac's. I doubt it is as polished and full-featured as the Parallels and VMWare products. However, it is open source and Free!

XP within XP? Why not just use a sandbox program like SandboxIE, for the same effect? It's all on the same boxen, so MS shouldn't get too rankled over it.

Well, SandboxIE is good for browsing only.

None of the other "virtual" benefits outlined in the article would apply at all.
