In the battle for the control of online search,no effort is meaningless and certainly this initiative by Microsoft is a step in the right direction. But Microsoft as a whole is really struggling to assert itself online. Now that the Yahoo deal is all but gone, it's time they reshape, re-evaluate and strategize or else as this article pointed out,they may be well see their online influence rescinding tom its lowest.
