If I attached mymail to my current Gmail address any good browser wouldn't recognize the Email syntax. In addition, all someone would have to do to get around this would be to remove the "mymail" and peel it back to the base Email.
Am I missing something here??

It also permits you to create virtual Email accounts that can just be deleted and a new one created if it gets junk.

The other suggestion refers you to an Hp web site that has a download that's supposed to scan your pc for security issues. I traced the information from the Hp site to another site and when I clicked on the final site, McAfee Siteadvisor had it flagged RED. The site details stated that their last check of the site indicated files for download that were either malware or spyware. Doesn't sound like a good risk to me.
I don't know how much effort goes into these suggestions, but I wouldn't trust them with a 10 foot cattle prod.

An example would be: myemail@gmail.com modified to include "myemail+test1@gmail.com
If the above address, including the "test1" were used to send to an account at "myemail@gmail.com" then Gmail would let it through. A filter can then be set up in Gmail to look for any Email that's sent to "myemailtest1" and either delete it or label it with a specific label. Gmail doesn't permit additional folders to be created to sort Email.
Gmail appears to be the only webmail account that will accept mail in this format. I attempted to send email with this additional notation to a few other accounts and the Email bounced.
This might be handy, but it's also very easy to just drop off the "+test1" from the address and get around any filter, so this isn't a good security feature.

Try it. Using your own e-mail, send an e-mail to your(fictitious)self. Send an e-mail to (example) egassem@bspamfree.org (that's message backwards). Give it a couple of minutes, then go to the site bspamfree.org. In the right hand corner type in egassem. You will see that your e-mail was received. You can read it, reply to it or just leave it there. Close the site. Tomorrow, after 24 hours, go back to the site and type in egassem and you won't have any mail because it's been automatically deleted.
Safe, secure and secret.
