What do you expect?
It is a hackers conference, one of those things that if you don't participate there will be repercussions. (Like those for Apple, right?)
The attitude is what I hear from all the hackers conferences. Why are these guys surprised or angry to hear it from people reporting on it? Do they think they corner the market on arrogance?
