That's OK. My OS is cool enough to run your OS in the background.

As a retired IBMer, I stuck with the IBM PC since DOS 1, but with IBM selling all PCs to Lenovo in China, I recently switched to the MAC OS X and bought a 24" iMac which I dearly love -- fun has returned to me after under Windows for far too long. Now I would like to see the Photosynth 3D photos, and could do so under my VMware Fusion program, but really want it only as a Mac application so I can have it in iPhoto, etc. Will this ever be possible?

It may be cool enough to run Windows in the background, but it does such a bad job it's virtually worthless to all but the most simple programs

Oh, big woopty-doo.

Adobe added 3D to Flash 10, with demos more impressive than that. So short answer, every photo website will contain 3D photo browsing in short order. So any OS with a WEB BROWSER will have that. Of course, not the iPhone, but that's a different topic.

Some people are SO impressed by the most worthless drivel.

As for my OS, it runs a TON of stuff simultaneously, including TWO Windows virtual machines at once that runs well enough, since it's 'ONLY XP'. The Windows 2000 machine runs better on half the RAM. I deleted the Vista VM because it just sucks too much.

Smooth as silk on top of a 3D desktop. And my Dell Vostro is well into its second year wasn't all that great a machine when I built it, either.
